So I know a lot of folks have Farmall 100/130/140s out there. Now I have never changed the width between my rear tires first of all, because I don't know how but secondly, because I haven't found a reason to. Hugh post earlier about tread setting on rear tires got me to thinking about it. I went out and checked and the distance between the center of the rear tires is 46 inches. That being said, I have no problems pulling my 2x14 IH 215 plow (no side draft issues that I have noticed). Is the current setting a good general purpose setting or should I make the effort to change it. I figure having the tires closest enables me to get more rows per acre in general anyway but I am just guessing. If I did want to change it, is it hard? Thanks Ramon
