My mistake shows you how ignorant I am about such things. I had read that web site to come to the date of 1948 but see now on closer read that the LoBoys are in a separate column and my serial number matches to 1961 as you said. The newer date makes me wonder whether one person may have owned it for 40 years -- this tractor was in the estate of Earl Watson but he's dead and no one seems to know when he got it (I don't suppose that International Harvester would have kept records that long on who purchased individual tractors).
How does this revised date affect the fair sale price?
