Springs are the same,,, I was thinking the 8043DD head has the same valves as the 300-350 heads,,, there was a few versions of the 8043 heads,,, old 8043, and new 8043, you normally found the 8043Dd heads on the Super H, as a standard high compression gasoline head. The older 8043 heads had longer (??) valves. One way or the other,,, I cant remember,, The cam does help torque in the lugging rpms. Chad
