My question is: Is the alternator a smaller profile alternator? It has to be smaller than the one I'm using, or there is no way you can fit it to an H and still shut the hood. The one I'm using is a Delco, but it is physically too large to be able to shut the hood. It can't be moved in tighter because the belt would then be slack, and there's only about a half inch between it and the valve cover already.
