If you go to AutoZone, they ask what year, make model, etc. The term 10SI is the corp Identifier for the part. These alt. were used on most any GM car or light truck from about 1970- 1986. The thing is that these were not self-exciting (one wire) models. I have always had better luck dealing with NAPA or Bumper to Bumper. If you go to a discount auto parts store you ususally dont get as knowledgeable of counter help as if you go to a parts store that supplies proffesionals.
