I'm thinking that lubricant choice makes a difference how a TA works.The thicker the oil,the colder the temperature,the more likely the TA is to hang up and slip.The thinner,the warmer,the less likely.If they are selling off a machine,maybe they put thick oil in the trans to keep it from leaking (??).Just a guess.
I think thats my problem.The old motor oil/gear lube they have in my 300U has mostly gummed up,and add cold weather and things dont flow very well.I'm dreading putting in Hy Tran...for fear of all the leaks I'm going to see probably.
