regarding cheap fresh air system for painting

If you guys are looking for a "cheap" fresh air system for working with paints that contain isos, I would suggest you look for a used SCBA (self contained breathing apparatus) unit. These are the units firefighters use, and many departments update them quite frequently, therefore used units are quite commonly available. They utilize "room air", not medical oxygen, so the cost for refilling tanks is minimal. You can find them on ebay under "air pack" or "scott air pack" or SCBA. The tanks are readily refilled, well made, parts are available,and you could also utilize it in the event of a fire to help rescue your family. The main downside is the weight on your back...but most anyone can handle it for at least an hour.
