Bill is right, and I also believe that unless something has changed you may have to have the tank certified occassionally in order to get someone to refill. I used to be in the fire service, and refilled these. I remember there was a difference between intervals on the old steel tanks, and the aluminum with fiberglass wrap. Some areas might be a tough find to get someone who had the high dollar compressor to refill unless you had a buddy on the local FD, or a scuba outfit close. The newer ones are lighter, but I certainly would not want to pack around one of the steel tanks for very long while painting, and when I finally got out of the fire service you only had less than 30 minutes of air (20 was about all I ever got out of one and it depends on your physical condition, and how fast you consume the air - and one of those on your back will increase your stress for sure).
