I thought the #1 cyl was closest to driver?? The firing order should be 1-3-4-2 but double check that on the casting on the block. And depending on what way you look at the distributor depends on what way it rotates. But I believe looking at the rotor cap it spins clockwise because it is the opposite way the crank spins. Someone correct me if I am grossely wrong. I am doing this from memory.
