Crossing the Line?

Okay,

I've decided to put two of those gargantuan 12 volt John Deere batteries wired in parallel in my 966 because the local red mech recommended it.

He says they last forever and provide far superior cranking in cold temps than do the two 6 volt batteries wired in series.

I told him that as long as the tractor was under his roof, he was to consider it his own personal tractor and treat it as such.

Is this considered treason? :>(
