CUB/MAGNETO INSANITY

Okay.......everything is lined up including the idler gear yadyadyayda. Engine fires and runs.

Problem is.I can not get the timing marks to line up with the pointer. Mark with the timing light ends up @ 1 inch above the point.

Can"t turn the mag any further towards the engine to bring the mark into alignment.

What gives.......This is a fairbanks-morse mag.

Send help...Ready to throw myself off bridge.
