Did they preeeure check the head? Seems to me on an M there are a couple of sleeves in the head that the head studs pass through. If these rust through, water can get into the oil by passing along the head stud into the valve cover area and then down to the crankcase. I don"t know if an H is the same, but might be something to look at while you have it apart.
