Didn't notice your primer question -- as Rod said on the Paint Forum you want epoxy primer, only familar with PPG Omni, the number is MP 170, follow with MP 181 (single stage) or MP 182 (2 part) -- 2 part means it uses hardener, sandable surfacer. Surfacer is only needed on the sheet metal, is not necessary on the cast. Topcoat with MAE Acrylic enamel with or without hardener, or MTK acrylic urethane, must have hardener. You need a supplied air system if you use hardener. DuPont and other major suppliers have similar products.
