Easy to get out! Just remove all of the attachments and slide it out. You will want to replace the seals during repairs. I doubled up on my seals since the originals with double seals in one unit cannot be had anymore. Also, give Mike Bunch a call. Get his number @ "SteelWheelRanch.com". He had a new one (shaft) made for me at a very reasonable price and furnished a tight fitting clutch pedal to boot! He can also furnish the seals if desired. Very knowledgable. Ranks A+ in my book!
