Harold, When I was Alaska I worked a little on some of the Champions with power shift transmissions. Can't remember the models. The earlier ones used Detroits with cable shift and were decent to work on. The later ones used Cummins and had an electronic pulse shift control. When the transmission worked it was nice. Then we started having problems with the two we had. Never did get them working right before they were replaced with 670 John Deeres. Seems like Champion was based in Canada. At least that's where we called for technical support and ordered our parts from. Their technical folks tried but weren't able to tell us anything we hadn't already done. I'm afraid I'm no help on their lineage. Rod
