An expert will answer, but it would not make any sense for the factory to install a belly pump and a live pump. They had the blank fillers to cover the hole right there in the factory and I'm sure they were much cheaper than the belly pump. I suspect the factory never had belly pumps and live pumps on the same assembly line for very long. When the new pumps were available they worked off their inventory of belly pumps and went to live pumps unless some joker made a special order. Tractors you see with both have had the live pump added. The owner may not have had a blanking plate avilable.
