Try draw-filing the tank flange to remove any high spots & locate low spots that have developed over the years due to damages caused to the sealing flange from re-filling the tank with 5 gallon cans & who knows what else.

Over the fourth of July weekend, the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois, was the site of the Old Gold National Antique Tractor Show.
