Be careful that you don't twist it off and totally hose yourself. Patience is the key, not brute force. Keep soaking it with penetrating oil. Give it a squirt every day. Rap on the end with a hammer, but don't beat the bejeezus out of it. Eventually it'll budge a little, then you can start trying to work it loose.
