I used to own a 1976 IH 140. It had the 12 volt system (as I recall, it was a generator, not an alternator), key switch starting with solenoid and a spin on oil filter. The tractor also had a 4 post ROPS on it when I got it, but I think that was an option. I took the ROPS off because it was too high to go in my garage. Sold the ROPS with a Super A I had. The ROPS bolted to the outside of the final drive housing at the drawbar bolt holes. I don't recall for sure if it had a starter interlock, but I think it did.
