When it came time to put it back in I gave up and got old IH man to put it back together. HE got everthing lined up just so and after couple of failed attempts it slipped right in. I&T Manual says: To remove the clutch cover assembly which is used with the 12 inch diameter lined clutch disc on late production M, MV, MDV, and all Super M. MV, MD and MDV tractors, it is necessary to disconnect the clutch housing from the engine. THE LINED DISC, HOWEVER. CAN BE REMOVED THROUGH THE OPENING IN THE BOTTOM OF THE HOUSING.
