My list would include the factory style parts and repair manuals as well as Guy Fay's Letter Series book since it goes into great detail how the factory painted and decaled tractors. As far as the "How to" books related to restoring tractor's those that I've glanced through have not impressed me very much. Successful Farming magazine put out a restoration guide in it's Ageless Iron series a few years ago and it's pretty good but it doesn't go into alot of details.
