Removing Radiator from H with Wide Front--OH BOY!

I have researched this issue and am aware of the common pitfalls, etc....was this a disgruntled engineer's idea of a joke?

Well....looking for any tips to make the job of taking the front end off any easier. My shop manual illustrates it but real world experience comes in handy so I would appreciate any advice...and as many details as you have time for....thanks a bunch....happy holidays!
