I agree that it is visibility. The offsets were primarily designed for cultivation. However, most implement companies designed implements to trail the right side of the tractor so you go clockwise around the field. Allis Chalmers was the lone holdout as far as I know, designing implements for the left side. So why is the seat on an AC B on the right side? Why are boat steering wheels on the right side? And why are all mobile home front doors on the right side as they would be pulled down the highway? Does anybody get out on a highway? It is all a great mystery and giving me a headache. Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway........ ...... ..
