Cowman: Don't think I would rush out and start restoring SHTA's or for matter tractors in general. I know it takes two bidders to create such a price. My thinking, the whole event was a publicity stunt. When was the last time you or anyone else on here ever came close to getting their money back on a complete restoration. I'm not saying this event was a bad thing. I believe true restorers of farm tractors should be much better rewarded than they have been in the past. That SHTA has a lot of work put into it, if the guy counts all his costs plus a return for his labour on that tractor, I for one will not be envious of the profit left from the $15,000.
