Take two deep breaths and have a cold beverage.

1) Distributor cap shouldn't be wiggling - It's probably not locked down properly - any way this problem must be solved.

2) My guess. You have no voltage going to the coil then distributor or you have a short in the distributor. Remove the wire going from the coil to the distributor - ignition on, check for voltage. No voltage trace back until you find the problem.

Voltage at the coil. Set the meter on OHMs and check the terminal at the distributor - you are looking for a short.
