Ok the ongoing story, I am shaking right now I am so mad. I have spent the whole day screwing with this tractor and no luck. Ok I rebuilt the Dist. the carb and the starter motor. I have installed all new wires, battery, ignition switch, volt meter, plugs + wires, and then all new wiring all around. I have a 12 volt system, and the 12 volt regulator, not an alternator. Ok, the power is getting to the starter motor and it is turning real strong. However I am not getting any spark at all. I put the #1 plug in the plug wire and hit the starter. I don't see any spark or arching between the gap in the plug? SHouldn't I be able to see this? Also while hitting the starter it is obviously turning the Dist., and I have noticed that the Dist. cap is wiggling around, but not that much, would this effect anything with distributing power to the plugs? I am really frustrated now. I really need help. I am a man, but I am near tears with this thing since nothing I have tried is working. Please help, any ideas?
