Either use a 12v dropping resistor or a real 12v coil.. like tsc has for the IH tractors.. or a napa ic14sb. Over ont he N forum, we use a a8n10306 dropping resistor when we use a 6v coil and 12v battery to keep the coil and points happy. Light bulbs would be the next issue., then the charging system.
