coax is right on where you need to add fluid to help the steering..the whine sounds like its low on fluid...also, check and change tie rod ends if they are sloppy. when you turn steering wheel, is the play in the tie rods, or the steering..you might want to jack front end of tractor for this..on my tractor a guy put car tires on the front and i'm sure this didn't help my steering..also, i replaced only one tie rod end $40, and really need to replace all, but what a difference in steering...also, check the play in the wheels, bearings etc...hope this helps, and i do have most manuals for this, possible i could scan critical pages for you..i'm quite busy this time of year, but will try to check back to this site again...
