can i have power steering without hyd outlets?

I pull alot with my 400, and having a couple extra hundred lbs on the front isn't easy without powersteering. The hyd. pump is a few hundred PSI below, so the valve won't work the power steering, but the hyd. Can i make something so the powersteering work and not the hyd. outlets? I always wondered on super H's and M's, or aftermarket systems, if they just had the pump hooked onto the powersteering and no spool, or if there is somekind of releif valve? Any way to make this work, like holding the divider valve in the open position, or would that hurt the power steering?
