the 706"s were good tractors. they are rated about 74 hp. everybody else is correct with all their info. 2000 is a decent price even if it needs some work down the line. the gas motors are easy to work on. if it has a three point or fast hitch it"s just that much better. i have a 63" model with a ih 2000 loader and a year round cab. i run a 7" two stage blower and clear about two miles of road in the winter and cut, raked and baled about 5000 bales of hay this last summer. the shift design is known for problems but an easy fix is to upgrade to the 56 seried shifter. sorry for rambling on but i just love the 7"s to death. casey in SD
