My 300U used to do it all the time, especialy when slapping into reverse (Is yours hard clutching?) After running it awhile the clutch gets hard to push down and I would slap the Gear lever quickly with out being fully dissengaged and get the girl stuck in a couple of gears. Not a hard fix. Just remove the to an duse a large screw driver to line things up and replace. I love that 300U but hate its clutch!
