The seat spring actally broke on me when moving dirt a last year. Really got my attention. My '47 M has the Monroe seat so I got both the spring And the tall shock, and let me tell you, that tall gas charged shock changed everything. Man, do you sit tall in the saddle and the ride is still pretty good.
