Regarding the coolant in the engine oil. The Regular used a wet sleeve principle and used rubber O-rings to seal the coolant from crankcase. I would think that would be the problem. You could also have a small crack in the block but imagine the sleeve seals are the problem. Pull your engine pan or look up through the inspection holes and see if coolant is leaking around the sleeves. You will have to pull the head and sleeves to correct the problem. I'm doing the same thing right now and have the sleeves at the engine shop. The seal grooves were bad and the shop is fixing them up for me. Hope this helps.
