regular cooling system

I am looking at a 1930 Farmall Regular. It is in excellent shape and engine runs strong and well. Question is , the cooling system is gravity fed off the radiator and the outtake is hot and the intake on bottom is not. The coolant is not extremely hot. Is this normal or is the lower section blocked?
Also may have some coolant leaking into oil. What do you guys think?
