I tell you what Dann, there are way more Farmalls out there with the torques out of them than there are with them working. It was a very weak spot in farmalls from the beginning. You still have 5 forward gears on the high side, and very seldom will you ever REALLY need to split the gears, for the money, in your case about half what the tractor is worth, I'd run her till she quit. You won't hurt anything else, and you just saved yourself a BUNCH of money. I'm really surprised that one lasted this long. Just what I'd do. Harley
