1256 stumper

we have 1256 that is putting pressure in the radiator.weve replaced the thermo 3 times. the local garage tested and found that it is carbon dioxide. seems to slow down when engine is wide open.when slowed down it starts pushin water out
on the ground.the block is slightly cracked behind the fuel pump but has only seeped coolant for a long time.any thoughts??????????
