another option is to buy yourself a stand-alone remote valve, plumb the supply port on it to a hose with a coupler and plug it into your one-way remote, then find a place to plumb the return line to dump the return fluid back into the rearend (that square plug under your third digit would be a good place to dump the return line) then you have a two-way remote that you turn on by locking your stock hydraulic lever on. Money-wise probably the same but it may be less involved, and you could have a single or double remote depending on what you want and what you can get over there across the pond.
