Did you have the plantary housing off? I was referring to main housing minus the plantary housing is the same as the one on the 1466. Below is a picture with the plantary housing removed. The main housing looks just like the one on the 1466 (the gears are different of course). So I looked it up in the parts manual and both have a part number of 68517C92. The 1586 also shares the center of the main housing with the 1486, part number 127910C91 (replaces 68517C92). I did see though that the gear from the speed transmission is different between the 14 and 15 (different number of teeth), so I wouldn't think it would work. The bolt holes in the housings should line up though.
