I went back and checked the post Joe was talking about, Terry2567 posted his casting number which was correct for an original block 354898R1 and the tractor's serial num of 112416, but never posted the block's serial number. We have no tractor serial num, but a block serial number here which sounds reasonable for another early production tractor; which make both of these relatively early in the Super C build. Like I posted last time, the word special was not on the later R1 blocks (I have one here from a '52 tractor). aitch if you would, please post the block's casting number and the tractor's serial num also. If this is related to casting of early production blocks, we should also see some 'special' Super A blocks after serial number 310,000. Stan(VA).
