What did you do to the oil pump? Is it a rebuilt or new? Did you verify the rod and mains bearing clearances at assembly? You should have good steady oil pressure with that re-build. My opinion is it should not fade away as it appears to be doing. Did they hot tank the block? The caustic hot tank solution can cause problems with some types of cam bearings. As an example, a C113 engine I built uses the old style gage. It carries not quite 3/4 gage cold and drops to just above 1/2 gage hot on 10W-30 oil.
