I don't know what others do, or even if this is a good idea, but I am doing this to my 560 right now. We save the hy-tran out of our good tractors (Late model Fords) which generally comes out looking almost like it did going in. I will put this in and run the tractor about 100 hrs. I will get it good and hot and then drain that out and put fresh in. Usually all kinds of creepy crusty things hiddin in there.
