Greetings, I have a question regarding how to clean up the transmission/hydraulic fluid on a 560. What I mean is, my buddy says that since the hydraulic couplers for the remotes were really dirty (and they were when I bought it) most likely there is dirt in the hydraulic/tranny fluid and I should drain it and flush it. Draining is no problem. But...how do I flush it to remove any residual dirt that doesn't come out with the fluid? Should I put new fluid in and just let that drain out? That could get expensive real quick. Should I use some other fluid to flush? (probably not a good idea, I'm thinking) if so, what? Someone has to have done this before. Also, same friend recommends using Shell Donax TD instead of CIH Hy-Tran to save a few dollars. Shell says it meets the Case-IH spec for "Hy-Tran Plus". I forget the spec number. Any experience with the Donax instead of Hy-Tran? Thanks for the advice!
