Just inharited a International 404

I had bought a Ford 881 cause I needed a tractor and then was given a International 404. It is in much better shape than the Ford. I have been doing some research and have a few questions that I hope someone could help me with:

1. Does this tractor have live hydraulics? Does it have an independant / live PTO?

2. Does anyone know how many Horsepower this tractor was rated at?

3. What is the "load control" lever for? I would assume it has something to do with leveling out implements?

4. Anything I should watch out for?? Any gotchas that I should take care of right away?

5. Where do I look for serial numbers?
