Farmall Super A

My son and I found a 1948 Super A for sale yesterday. It appears complete, not stuck, and has good compression. The hood was struck by a fallen tree branch and the water pump started leaking when I hand cranked the engine, but otherwise the tractor is in good condition. The owner is asking $1,000 for it , but I think that might be a little on the high side. I know the old saying about the value is somewhere between the asking price and what you're willing to part with, but what is a Super A in the above condition going for?
