Joseph: One of the items I found unbelieveable since coming to YT is the number of low hour tractors in the land. My opinion is if you didn't have at least 750 hours of work per year for the tractor, your money was probably better off invested somewhere else. Too many over powered farms have kept a lot of farmers poor. But then history is history. I ran across a guy the other day, restoring his dad's Farmall 300. It was bought new to cash crop 500 acres along with another smaller tractor. I can see those old gassers having low hours as they soon got parked in favour of much more efficient new diesels in the 60's. There has been no reason since to park the diesel.
