If it is a oily/greasy situation; lock the brakes, put it in 5th gear, run the engine wide open, and slip the clutch for a while.
It may start to smoke if there is a lot of oily residue.
Shut the engine down & put a block of wood between the clutch pedal and the transmission cover.
Best thing to do is remove the clutch and replace witha new one. Then do not over-grease the pilot bearing.
