Could be an over greased pilot bearing - grease getting onto the clutch plate. Next time you get the tractor unstuck. Try riding (slipping) the clutch a bit. Search the archives. Someone suggested locking the clutch down and spraying the disc with hot soapy water from a small pressure sprayer. Then rinsing with clear water. I use a clamp to lock down the clutch pedel on a Cub when not in use. I don't know if that is a good idea or not but it works until I have time to break the tractor and replace the clutch.
