I know this sounds simple and I am not questioning your ability..but you might want to check the amount of fuel flow from your tank...to make sure you are filling the carb as fast as it needs. Now I work on equipment all the time and my 460U was doing the same thing yours was....pulled my hair out to figure it out. I assumed the new fuel filter was ok but for some reason it didn't allow enough fuel to be delivered. Just a thought...I feel your pain.
