Larry, A lot of these tractors have accepted donor parts and it is often confusing as to authentiscity. I have only ever seen one M with 36 inch rubber and that was a 1940. I don't think there ever was a fluctuating voltage. The only variation there came from the lite switch variac. I have seen the big filter on 1944 tractors so go figure. The small PTO was switched in late 1940 to the best of my knowledge. What are you going to do with the live pump and power steering? I would be interested in buying them off of you, if you want to sell them.
