Thanks Hugh! Wheat yields this year have been very good. Problem is the persistent wet is now causing the crop to sprout. And the wet ground makes it hard to get around in the fields � we�re constantly struggling with stuck grain trucks, combines, Stackcruisers, etc. Also hard to get straw dry enough for baling.

Interesting your comment about baler fires. I observed damp stalks and weeds had a propensity to wrap around the center of the combine header auger causing it to become extremely hot. I can see where under extreme conditions it might start a fire. (On the other hand it�s so #&@%$ wet this year you couldn�t start a wheat straw fire if you wanted too!) ...Bob M
